🚀 How to Move from Band 7 to Band 8

The jump from Band 7 to Band 8 requires moving from "good" to "precise". Here's what to focus on:

Replace good vocabulary with precise vocabulary

Every time you write "good", "bad", "big", "many" — find a more precise word. "Substantial", "detrimental", "considerable", "a significant proportion".

Eliminate all basic grammar errors

Band 8 has "rare errors". This means subject-verb agreement, article usage, and prepositions must be consistently correct.

Understand implied meaning in Reading and Listening

Practice reading between the lines. When a passage says "while some improvements were noted", it implies the overall situation was still negative.
